Dr. Whynot is Board Certified in Internal Medicine with interests in Bariatrics and Medical Informatics. He holds degrees from Boston College, Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nuclear Medicine, and the University of Massachusetts Medical Schools, and completed his residency at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boston. He is a member of the American Bariatric Society and is the Medical Director of both Alaska Premier Health, and our sister clinic, Island Health Weight & Wellness, in Honolulu, Hawaii. | Dr. Morris is a Board Certified Internist and a Bariatric Physician. He graduated from George Washington University Medical School and was Assistant Professor of the Department of Medicine and Preventive Medicine at Washington University of Medicine. He has been practicing medicine in Alaska for over 30 years. |

Laurie started with Alaska Premier Health in April 1993. She is a Certified Lifestyle Counselor who has extensive training from various weight loss specialty centers across the country, including the Cooper Institute in Dallas. Originally from Seattle, and a graduate of University of Washington School of Business, Laurie moved permanently to Alaska in 1982. She has a master's degree in Healthcare Administration from Alaska Pacific University. | Allen started with Alaska Premier Health in July 1998 as a Physician Assistant. He is originally from Birmingham, AL. Allen graduated from the Army Physician Assistant Program with honors and earned a bachelor's from the University of Oklahoma with honors. Allen then completed a master's in PA Studies at the University of Nebraska. He retired from the Army in 2001 and established his practice at Alaska Premier Health. |

Ed started with Alaska Premier Health in August 2006 as a Physician Assistant. He is originally from Baton Rouge, LA. Ed is a retired Army Captain with 20 years of active duty in the military. He graduated from the University of Nebraska with both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies. | Kevin started with Alaska Premier Health in 2011. He was born and raised in Monroe, WI. Kevin entered the United States Air Force in 1984. While in the Air Force, he had several duties beginning as an electronics technician. He then became a respiratory therapist before he graduated in 2000 from the Interservice Physician Assistant Program from the University of Nebraska. He completed a Master's in PA Studies Family Medicine in 2001. He was selected a company grade Physician Assistant of the Year in 2008. He retired at the rank of Major with 27 years of service. |

Sally started with Alaska Premier Health in January 1995 as a Nurse Practitioner. She was born in Anchorage and graduated from UAA with a bachelor's and a master's in Nursing. She has been a Red Cross CPR / First Aid Instructor for 21 years. She is also a Heart Association instructor and an instructor for the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America. | Tina started with Alaska Premier Health in November of 2006 as an Administrative Assistant. She is originally from Creswell, Oregon. Tina retired from active duty in the U.S. Air Force in 2005, where she worked in healthcare administration. She has an associate's degree in Instructional Technology from Air Force Community College. |

Samantha joined the team at Alaska Premier Health in December 2009. She is originally from Alaska, born and raised on the Kenai Peninsula. She is currently attending the University of Alaska Anchorage, working towards her Associate of Arts degree. She is currently a member of the Alaska Army National Guard, serving as a combat medic and retains an EMT-B certification. | Janelle began working at Alaska Premier Health in April 2010 as an Administrative Assistant. Originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado, Janelle moved to Alaska in 2008. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. |

Daylee began working at Alaska Premier Health in March 2011 as a Medical Assistant. She is a native of Alaska, having been born and raised here. She is currently attending UAA and aspires to become a Physician Assistant. Her husband is a member of the United States Army and is currently stationed in Alaska. | Casey graduated from Western Washington University in 2011 and has started medical school in Anchorage through an exchange program with the University of Washington. A four-time NCAA champion in rowing, Casey loves working out and enjoying the beautiful outdoors. She was born and raised in Anchorage. |

Theresa started at APH in May of 2011 and is currently attending UAA and majoring in Health Sciences. She is working towards becoming a Physician Assistant and obtained her Medical Assistant certification at Career Academy. She was born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska. | Stephanie is a 2011 Graduate of Pennsylvania State University, and holds a bachelor's of science in Kinesiology. She is currently applying to medical school. Originally from Anchorage, she has also lived in Jakarta, Indonesia. |
